The birthday dinner....

Yesterday I was cleaning up the car door handles and interior areas with a wet pad of 91% alcohol and whoops...spilt a little but figured it would dry up quickly.
So wife place the call in order to Texas Roadhouse for dinner for two this evening and we got in her car to pick it up.
Get in the car and we are greeted with the lingering smell of 90 proof!!
So as we drive off had to open the windows to get some air in as were starting to taste the fumes hoping not to get stopped by the local police!!

Park in the pick up order spot and they bring out our dinner bags being mindful if we touch bags not to touch face.
Once home now we have to juggle the bags and containers while moving the food to our plates and then wash hands.

Dinner was great and the desserts wait in the fridge for later tonight! A different but happy birthday dinner in the year 2020!

Oh and I called my son and he had the girls blow out my imaginary candles over the phone!

Hopefully just a blip on the radar screen of all your birthday dinners, past and present. Not one to be repreated, that's for sure, but glad you got something special, and a good story out of it.
