A spray of WD40 on your hands could keep viruses from sticking? Just a spray and rub hands together.
I didn't catch much flu back in my days of working in the tooling shops maybe because you always had some oil or machining fluid on your hands!

I spent lots of time up to my elbows in varsol tanks way back when. I think that must have done some good...

Oh yeah the varsol and same here when cleaning parts before we moved on to the Safety Kleen products.
