Academy Sports

As posted earlier, I’ve ordered a Henry .44 All Weather. I ordered it through Academy. I’ve been tracking it through FedEx. FedEx has delivered it at 3: 55, 4:01, 4:04 respectively over the past three days. Academy denies it because it’s after delivery hours. Anyone else have similar issues? I was just at Academy and they basically could care less.

Could be FedEx tries to deliver it 3 times in 3 days. Did Academy share with you their delivery hours?

I’m sure that’s exactly what happened. Delivery is until 4:00 . I could have made my point more clear. Sorry. Obviously FedEx knows the hours. I just hate that my gun keeps getting tossed around day after day.

Academy shouldn’t be buying direct from Henry. They should be getting it from their central warehouse and be delivered in an Academy truck.

I don’t know about FedEx but UPS’s single most stolen item by employees is firearms.

Have you been at home? I'm sure FEDX is the same as UPS, in that they won't leave a firearm unless you are there to recieve it.

In Texas you must have you firearm deliverers to a FFL holder first. Which would be Academy.

If they were closed, or not taking deliveries, FEDEX will try X no. of times, and stop. Why they would stop taking deliveries that early,
makes no sense. Co. policy no doubt.
I had a similar problem with Sportsmans Outdoors. Finally gave up & ordered thru my LGS. Should be here some time this week. I hope!!
I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.
