I shop at the Home Depot which is just right down the road it's the closest for my hardware needs and usually see this greeter inside the door being
a man about 70 or so mild mannered. I also see a fairly new red/orange Corvette that sits way out in the parking lot and figured a 40-50 something
store manager might own that.
Well while I was pulling out the parking lot I was stopped in my tracks as I saw the door greeter climbing slowly out of that hot Corvette!!
You just never know as I figured the door guy was a typical SUV or Camry owner!

I bet he doesnt think Forty has a Hot Rod Mustang either.

Probably not!

My FIL was an orthopedic surgeon (knees & hips). When he retired from doing surgery he bought a new Corvette, seafoam green beautiful car. (We think it was his midlife crisis car.) He sold it a few years later because he said that it was too difficult to get in and out of - made his knees and hips hurt. Oh the irony.

Getting in isn't really a problem, but
getting out.

Always wanted an early model Vette, say 57 to 63. When I got to where I could actually afford one, it wasn't practical since we had kids, and both cars needed to haul more than two. Couldn't afford a weekend car. Later, sans kids, I realized I was a truck person. I didn't like sitting on the ground looking up. I liked looking down and out, seeing plenty. Also, the active lifestyle needed the truck.

Still love those early Vettes, the Camaros, Firebirds, Mustangs.

Ha! I had to move my Daughters Honda Civic yesterday. By the time I got out I was on my hands and knees. What a sight that must have been.

I'm far too practical and 4WDs are more my style!
