I do think the scattered clumps of watercress look pretty in my spring Branch creek this time of year. Nice to see green

So far, this has not even been close to a normal Connecticut winter; no snow to speak of and very few sub-freezing daytime temps. Next week's forecast is for daytime temps in the low fifties, something we've already had a few times. My Daffodils are already about 6" tall. It makes me wonder what August will be like.

A lot of flowers are popping out and some trees are flowering here. As this is only my second winter here, I am not sure if this is normal for mid February. Jim, what say you?

Yep! Things are greening up here. Won't be long 'til mowing time. Not my favorite thing to do.

We have snow here, although it has been a relatively mild winter. Still normal around here.

I’m thinking of mowing the lawn.

Been gone almost 3 weeks. No idea what the lawn looks like in the TV.

we've been in Texas for about 7 weeks .... based on over 10 years of spending our winters in the area from just north of Houston to just north of San Antonio, its been pretty much middle of the road .... the number of beautiful days has roughly equaled the number of far from beautiful days .... the biggest thing that sets this winter apart is the simple fact that at no time has the temp fallen below freezing and that's a good thing
