My favorites are Paths of Glory, Lust for Life, and Spartacus. He had a great run.

He made a great " bad guy". He left a great legacy in film and, a fairly decent actor in his son. RIP

One of my favorite roles he played was Capt. Yelland in the WWII sci-fi, "The Final Countdown."

An old school great actor.
He was 103, born in 1916.
"Lonely are the Brave" is my favorite as well.
And surprisingly, Kirk was quoted as saying it was his favorite too.
I believe he was a lot like that character in real life.
