My old backyard airgun range....

I built up the "Shotgun Saloon" range in my backyard back in 2012. You can shoot off the porch of the Shootin' Shack which is about 30 yds. from the Saloon target area.
Haven't done much air rifling since I bought my range property down in the country but on occasion I might get one of my air guns out.
Was and is fun making up different targets out of stuff around the home! The saloon backstop is around 3 inches thick of treated boards with the front boards being replaceable 5/8ths thick cheap fence pickets.
You might see the recycled windshield wiper arms popper targets that when hit pop back up! And no I never hit that cool wagon I built...don't use it for that anymore.

Love it. I'll be right over.
This our backyard air gun range, as of today. (Yeah, I do a LOT of indoor shooting in the winter.)

I have to wait until the trees start filling in in spring to set up a backyard range. Neighbors would poop themselves if they saw me with a gun.

Impressive! My backyard range consists of a 12" target on a pine tree. No too fancy. But, it does come in handy.

When I first got the backyard range up the local police stopped bye to check it out while I was plinking away.
They knew that shooting air rifles was then legal in city limits but someone called to report it.
They checked out my backstop and said all was good but didn't take me up on the offer of a few shots.

I hear gunfire from two separate directions about once a week. Both private plinking ranges. Both are setup safely which makes it legal. I don’t have room for a berm which makes it unsafe.

Sound of gun fire is common around our area since we are just across the river from a large military base firing range.
You can be awaken at sunrise by machine gun and mortar fire during training weeks and during hunting season with hunters on the other side of river area...plenty of deer.

We don't have machine gun and mortar fire, but we do have neighbors that aren't bashful about shooting their loud guns on their backyard, even after dark. I don't mind, because I know them all and they have a safe setup to shoot. All perfectly, legal. Still, we choose to shoot only airguns on our property because we do have kids in the area, playing back in the woods and out on the lake and we worry about a stray shot and so on.
