Well, was scrolling the TV guide. Saw Silverado was coming on. Duh! The evenings entertainment is decided.

That's one of those that I always liked ever since it first came out. It also has one of my favorite lever guns in the movie as well even if whatever they use isn't always true to form or authentic.

Silverado is a good movie but more importantly it was a resurgence to the 'western' genre that had been notably 'dormant' for several years.
A Pretty good cast helped make the movie what is and it still resonates today.

Couldnt agree more. But everytime I have a need for some western entertainment Outlaw Josey Wales or Tombstone hits the screen. Still enjoy watching those

I'm old school so although all of these are great I still watch a lot of John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, and Henry Fonda westerns.

I read recently that there are plans to CGI some old actors and put them in movies....James Dean for one.

Might be some new John Wayne's on the horizon....kidding & YUCK! Seems perverse to me.

Selleck and Elliott better get cracking and make another western quick, these guys are getting old!
