Today is new computer install....

Yep my old HP is 10 yrs old and has been having problems so an early Christmas present was a new unit.
Hope install goes well today and hopefully make it back here!

HP AMD Ryzen 3 Desktop. Has more memory and faster than my old HP and it fit my budget.
Hookup is easy....learning to navigate Windows 10 might take some Jack Daniels support!

I found the switch from 8 to 10 fairly painless.
I got a new computer earlier this year. Decided to go with an SSD model with full HD screen.
I really love both features. SSD allows complete bootup in less than 15 seconds. When the screen comes up, it's ready to use. No need to wait on lots of other stuff to slowly load. It's a small hard drive, but my old computer had 6 - 7 years of use and only about 120 gigs on it. I can easily store photos, and music on thumb drives versus the hard drive if necessary.
HD screen is much easier on the eyes, as well as pleasing to look at. Really makes a difference when looking at photos after a day out taking pictures.Text doesn't have that almost pixelated look either, which is nice.
