Henry Rifle Forums

Anyone ever order from this company? Seems to have the best deal on a Browning T-Bolt Target rifle. I like to get feedback from others before using a company I haven't dealt with before.

that is one fine looking rifle .... the only firearm I've ever purchased that wasn't manufactured in the USA is a Belgium made Browning .... are the T-Bolts still made in Japan ..

I'm sure they are JEBar. I've been mulling over some options. I'm also looking at some 22-250 rifles but really not into getting any more reloading equipemnt. This would be a good option for some cheap fun. I've got my Ruger 10/22 and it shoots fine.

understood on looking for something cheap to fire and not having to load your own ammo .... if I was in the market for a 22 long gun, I have no clue what I'd end up with .... it seems like the Henry 22's aren't scope friendly and for me that's a non starter

Never heard of these guys. Jake but I sure did look hard at one of those T-bolts with the maple stock.

I had a Yellow Boy 22 that I had a scope on. My good friend up the road wanted it so badly that I sold it to him. He loves it.
The guys at the range are playing with these. Very accurate, but not a Henry.

That is indeed a fine looking gun. Browning makes a great product.

actually, I can't take credit for saying it .... over the last few years there have been bunches of comments from folks with Henry 22's mentioning the drop of the stock doesn't lend itself to easy scope mounting .... based on those comments I tend to believe its true .... hopefully members with first hand knowledge will chime in with facts about it

I've seen those and our own HRFunk did a video on them the other day. One of the things I consider when purchasing is where these are going when I can no longer shoot/pass. I like to have the rifle/pistol I can one day pass down to kids/grand kids (none yet) and they can have something desirable/collectible. Still also looking at a M77 .22 Hornet on GB.

I understand. I have a 22 Hornet in a Ruger No. 3 that I stocked myself. Pretty little rifle.

My currant pride and joy is a Yellow Boy in 357 Mag. Lots of fun to shoot and pretty to boot. I've scoped it as well.

Well, went ahead and ordered one today. I'll let y'all know how it shoots.

Congrats. Can't wait to hear the reports.

Well, the Browning got delivered to the FFL today. He's got a couple of busy days so we agreed to meet Friday. I can say TSS was great to deal with and kept me informed via email every step of the way. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

It is the Golden/Silver Boy line with the pronounced dropped angle on the stock.
The other lever 22's the Classic and Frontier lines are fine for scopes.
