Amazon returns

Amazon has a neat new feature, (I guess it's new, it's been a while since I've had a return) take the item to a UPS store, they will scan a QR code that Amazon sends you and then they will package the item and print out the mailing label for you.

I think that's been in place for awhile, not a long while though. I still print the return labels at home and return in the original shipping box. Don't have to stand in line at the UPS store. Just walk in an leave it on the separate drop-off counter.

We have a UPS store in town and I have used it to return packages to Amazon, and now we have an Amazon Locker at the drug store you can use to have stuff delivered to and pick up and for returns. Have not tried that yet.

Me, too. But, I had to request that Amazon only provide a printed return label for my account. My nearest UPS drop-off is not a "UPS store" and they aren't authorized to use the QR code. They posted a sign at their counter with a phone number to call Amazon to make that request.

Around here Amazon partners with Kohl’s. You simply “return” the item online and they will send a QR code to your phone. You can then take the item to Kohl’s and they will package/box it and ship it back to Amazon. You typically get some type of a coupon for Kohl’s at the time.

That's interesting. Guess shouldn't be surprised with partnerships. Just never heard that before.
