Season changing fast this year going from 80's this past Thursday and now into 50's and 30's today which brought me a scratchy sore throat
yesterday. So made a late trip to the drug store for Cold-Eeze and Nyquil to nip it in the bud!
Feeling better this morning! Of course the salt water/vinegar gargle helped too.

Good luck went thru that about a month ago. Got after it early and it went away quick.

Round here we add a whiskey honey lemon mixture to drink at night. Not sure what medicinal value it has but sure helps with sleep. And it's a tradition iny family. Hope you feel better soon.

Sit back and kick your feet up and sip a couple shots of Irish or Canadian Mist. Works for me.

Dennis Leary does a hilarious bit on NyQuil. I swear by that stuff when I get sick. I sleep well on it. Gotta be (as DL calls it) “original green death flavor” for me.

we keep bottles of the green and red NyQuil in a cabinet at home and in our camper .... if Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold and Flu doesn't take care of it, we break out a green or red bottle

Was feeling the max of this sore throat last night and took a dose of the "battle green" and hit the sack at 9 PM.
With the extra hour of sleep from the time switch, I re-set the clock at 7AM this morning...felt much better at 8 AM!!
I think I'm past this mess now.

The 'Mist's have honey and heather in them. In a hot cup of tea, helps clear the head and chest.

Almost did same last night before taking the green stuff but wondered if the 80% proof would light up my throat more!
Settled for the meager 10% in the Nyquil.
