I got the honor of the first locked thread.....
I was not trying to cause trouble. I thought it was a legitimate question with the season were in.
I got the answer and it was what I was expecting......

I am a VERY 'political lady' and I believe in God but I don't want politics and religion on this forum.
People can go to many other forums if they want to discuss those issues.
I have seen Owners and Moderators on so Many Forums, not only firearm ones, who been very, very BIASED in what gets said depending on THE Person/Poster posting it. I have seen it from the late 90's and on. Uh huh.
I am glad that this is a 'safe forum' when it comes to specific subject matters and popular and unpopular opinions are not picked over by very BIASED moderators.
I don't shy away from any subject matter but I prefer to not have it HERE.
I have been involved in politics, geography, and history from the age of 12 years old. Religion from an earlier age.

I've seen too many people banned on other forums and it just causes trouble. Plus I don't want to be the bad guy and ban someone or babysit.

We can probably have enough disagreements on firearms, reloading, etc. without opening up politics and religion.
Sort of like why I have always said I don't watch reality shows on TV. I don't need to. I can get all the back-stabbing, dirty tricks, and snarky people at work. I don't need to come home and fill my evening up with it too!
