So here I sit in Central Va. and have missed both games of UVA and Va.Tech so far this season.
We pay Comcast around 185 per month for TV and Internet and still not enough to watch the Va.Tech vs. ODU game which both schools located
in Va. because now I got to pay extra for ESPNU!! Couldn't get the first Tech game last week or the UVA game because the new ACCN
network hasn't reach a carry deal with Comcast....always about the money!!

However I can watch any number of other games like the North Carolina or Michigan or Ohio and so on at no extra cost.
I had signed up for ESPN+ which did have the ACCN games but NOT if signal carried by Comcast/Xfinity.

Screw it....time to go out and shoot!

I feel your pain Forty. Here locally the big three are wanting to block out the local teams. IE the Nuggets Avalanche Mamouth and the Rapids. Its all about the money. So why dont they do this and make them available for a fee. They do it for movies. Put a 3.99 or whatever fee on it and if a guy wants to watch it he can pay the fee. Instead there just not going to carry it at all and block everybody out. Its stupid. Then they wonder why they are losing subscribers.
