Wife and have had fun

Post by bandit1250 » Tue Jul 30, 2019 6:57 pm

My wife and I have had a lot of fun since the last of the cold weather left up in the early spring. Had a lot of rain but still got to shoot except on windy days. Even on the windy days it usually dies down in the evening hours so we could still shoot. We save our empty 22 brass and recycle it at the salvage yard. About another three inches and this Christmas can that had several different flavors of popcorn in it will be full of empties. A lot of shooting and a whole lot of fun. The last batch I took in last year I got $56 for it and put it in my ammo money and use it to buy more. To all members, have a good remainder of what's left of summer and shoot as much as you can.

I have been tossing 22 brass for years as not worth saving. Thanks for the great tip. :)
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Now that we no longer reload, we also add 38/357/9mm/45 ACP brass to the mix and sell it for scrap. Adds up, fast. Also helps to keep the club range clean.

Good idea. There is always lots of brass at our range, usually all over the shed floor. Slobs.

To a lot of shooters, "brass is gold."
And sure looks like it in your bucket, Bandit :!:
