Got one of my "round to its" done today !

Post by fortyshooter » Sun Jul 28, 2019 2:54 pm

Found some time to put up a rifle rack or even use it as a pistol rack on my shooting deck today.
Neighbor up the road donated the nice 2x8 he had lying around so hung it up and added some wooden pegs.

The Henry .44 Carbine looks nice hanging there too!
May add another one on the other deck side.

Nice forty, always good to have a quick, handy and safe place to put firearms when the hands are busy.

I like that. Simple, very efficient. Hmm, got some wood like that in my garage. Also have some 1/2" or 5/8" dowel in there too. Well, well. Nicely done.

.
About 'round toits'. Last fall I was redoing the bathroom floor, replacing the plywood over the subfloor. I needed to cut a 4 inch hole in the plywood for a new shower drain flange. I had the plywood on the floor in the spare bedroom and used a circular saw to cut the hole. Of course cutting the hole went part way into the bedroom floor. No worries there as plan was to put hardwood floor in there anyway. As a funny with my wife, the cut in the bedroom floor became my 'round toit'. We had fun with it for a while. Now that the hardwood floor is in I can't get around toit.
