My luck continues

Stopped by my local Goodwill store yesterday more or less just to kill a few minutes.
I was in the neighborhood, but still a little early, for a job estimate.
Wandered around for all of about 3 minutes when I spotted something interesting.
Poking out from under the rest of the junk on the shelf was a belt-slide holster.
O.k., it's black leather and seems well made. I notice it looks brand new. It's still flat, like it had never been on a belt. No scuff marks on the inside or out.
I turn it over to look for a price and just about ran for the door.
$.99. Yes, that's right. Ninety nine CENTS, for a brand new belt-slide holster.
I brought it home and opened the safe. What do you know, it fit's my Taurus Judge like a glove.
It is obviously made for a 3" barreled Judge with a 2-1/2" chamber.
Mine is a 4" barrel with the 2-1/2" chamber.
Yes, I did look for more, but no luck there.

Unheard of price at 99 cents for a leather holster. Definitely a great find.
"Goodwill" shines on ya!

Great find... Sometimes we get lucky.
The wife checks both Goodwill and "The Restore Store" when she goes through town. She has found amazing deals as well, especially at the restore store. (They take donations from contractors, suppliers, etc.) You can find cabinets, furniture, hardware, paint, etc.

I frequent our local Re-Store as well. Some good finds there!

Don't ya feel just a tad greedy hoarding all the luck?

Good for ya. It's the small things like this that get us through the day.

Could be karma.
I am a general contractor, and I donate a TON of stuff to the Re-Store.
I've given them more than a half-dozen toilets so far this year!
I've given them cabinets, furniture, lighting fixtures, small electrical or plumbing supplies...
If I didn't donate all that stuff, I'd be BURIED in it!

Tina likes to roam thru the restore store to kill time as well as to find good deals. A couple years ago she stumbled on a bucket filled with solid brass hinges, new in the packages. They ranged from two inches to six inches high. Good heavy pairs, wth screws, $1 per package. She bought them all, about $30 worth. We have been using them around the farm for various projects ever since.
She has been keeping an eye out for a granite topped small cabinet, just for the top. I need a slab for leather work. You do the stamping on granite for sharpest results. You never know what you'll luck into.

Big believer in Karma here. Very little happens by chance. We donate to these places by the truck or trailer load very often. Payback doesn't always have to be bad.

I've also made some great finds, my family makes fun of me because I have the "old fart card" from there that gives me 20% off on Wed's., on the flip side someone donated an open box of clay pigeons and some genius put 3 to a bag with a $2 price tag, they had a shelf full of bags, if it's for shooting it must be valuable right?
