I just read that Alan (Wilbur on Mr. Ed.) Young passed a few days ago at 96.

Always liked him.

I couldn't believe how old he was.

I remember him as a pretty young guy.

I would had guessed about 85.

Sad to hear of his passing. That was a funny, unique show. Part of pop culture.

As a youngster, I watched Mr. Ed regularly, but I also remember Alan Young in The Time Machine, a great book and a good movie; and Androcles and the Lion, a movie I totally enjoyed when I saw it on TV as a child.
