Skinner sights

I have a H001 22lr Round barrel. Would like to put a Skinner pep sight on the receiver groove. Spoke with Skinner most likely will have to change front sight. Has anybody done this and did you have to change the front sight?

I’ve only done the receiver sight on my .357 (I did order and use his Patridge front). My .22 came factory with the Skinner (SGC) but still needed a taller front anyway. I like the Patridge better than the factory front, so I’d just order one anyhow.
