No "spirit animal" but who wouldn't like eyesight like hers..............

This sounds like one of those "tests" you see posted on Facebook, which I would hesitate to take, because I might not like the outcome!

I never found out.

Mine has always been the hawk and I've known it from childhood. Very special animal for me.

I saw a squirrel just like that, except it was watching the sunset and enjoying a acorn.

Haven't shot one since, but may pick it up here next year with rabbits (overrunning the place)............

Didn't have a pic to post, but that was my choice as well. I love Raptors of all kinds, fierce, majestic and protected, as they should be!

Me, too. That pic was a Sharp-shinned Hawk that was visiting our bird feeders. We also have a pair of Bald Eagles that nest nearby and use our lake for feeding and, at night, we get serenaded by Barred Owls.

Very cool! We see hawks ever day around here. Best I can tell from my bird books they are mostly Broad Winged or Sparrow hawks.
When up at our summer home we hear the owls a lot as well.

Several years ago a baby fell out of a tree, and the momma brought to us bleeding from the mouth and nose. Gave it bits of apple, water and sunflower seeds. It recovered and unfortunately was human acclimated. Tried to return it to the outdoors, but no go, it was terrified of being outside.

Loved being held and played with. Sleep your shirt pocket. Knew its name and would come to you went called. Real cute. But I would not take one in again. Can't be house broken. Had to put it in a hamster cage at night to keep it out of the couch.

They are incredibly smart. Saw a show recently that showed how nearly impossible it was keep a squirrel out of a bird feeder.
