With more rain than we need I have spent a lot of time in my gun room at the loading press to get caught up on my loading 222's and 220 Swift ammo. I would rather not be spending time loading and would rather be out side getting things done and save the ammo loading for the bad weather days this winter. So while loading I listen to music and play mostly 60's pop and some folk music. I thought I would share some music with my fellow members from a group from those years that I really thought were the best. They are from the land down under but were quite popular here also. They were called The Seekers. Lead singer Judith Durham had a fantastic voice. Give a listen if you have time today. The first song reminds me of how I feel about my very special wife that is also my best friend in the world.

Judith looks like she should be in junior high school. I like how the singers back then had no tattos and didn't have enough metal in their ears, nose and lips to open a salvage yard. The guy on the base looks like the man that played super man many years ago.

Music is a must when reloading.

Im more of a sport than music listener when reloading.
I do like your choice of cartridge bandit1250, I only have 2 centre fire 22cals, 222 and swift are my choice.

I haven't reloaded in some time... since I'm not competing any longer, I don't go thru ammo like I used to. I have a good bit loaded, and plenty of components standing by. When I do set up the Dillon for a particular caliber or load, even though it's not that hard, or time consuming with each tool head preset with the proper dies, I load a thousand rounds. Then I take the press back apart and clean and lube. That way it's ready for the next session.

I go in the opposite direction when handloading ammo. Nothing to distract me from the task at hand. Even the cat knows not to bother me!

When I set up for a morning or afternoon of reloading I'm always listening to Pandora. I've got it tune to the music I love.

That's why you listen to Bach, Beethoven, Mozart etc. when reloading.

Classical music actually enhances concentration.

I start up Pandora and go to the Jimmy Buffet channel. I work only one caliber a day - .30-30, .25-20, .38 spl, or .45. As I'm loading for competition I load from a single stage press and weigh every load exactly. Slow, but it lets me listen to Jimmy more.

FYI - having trouble finding primers - is there a shortage coming? LGS wanted me to pay HazMat for 1000 primers! (of course I live in a small market town and figure this is not the case in Austin or Houston.)
