I've been hearing honkers heading north the last two weeks. I'll hear them again going south in October.

couple that with the northern migration of snowbirds in their RV's has slowing to a trickle out on I-95 .... spring must be at hand ..

This is some great wildlife photography and a pretty cool story about a dispute between a Canadian Goose and an American Bald Eagle. Spoiler, the goose wins.

We don't see very many migrate through here. Most of them are year round residents now. With all of the business and residential developments with ponds they just put down roots and stay. A good number of parks have to hire someone with dogs trained to harass the birds enough so they will move on.

At least geese are tasty birds.

We get both up here. Quite a few bald eagles the last few years. Beautiful birds.
