Good post, Jake. I got a glimpse at some excitement attached to this week's celebration of Canada's Sesquiscentenial. Each week I watch most of the showings of "Jeopardy," and host Alex Trebek is Canadian. This last Friday on the program he highlighted, and connected, Canada's and America's national celebrations because they occur just a few days apart. Also recently there have been quite a few contestants appearing on the show who are Canadian, and Trebek's been having fun noting that.

Rarely do you see Trebek not wearing a suit or sport coat and tie. On the Friday show he was sporting a very colorful shirt displaying Canada 150. It was kind of funny that when the program moved from the Jeopardy completion into the second half Double Jeopardy competition, the red shirt disappeared and he was back in his suit!!

Here is a news report on that Friday show, and brief info on the Canadian national holiday.

To our Canadian Henry members, enjoy the events for this special year in your history!!
