Lake Chelan State Park
I'm packing for a five-day four-night camping trip to Lake Chelan State Park with a one night stop at Wenatchee State Park. Not only have I been too busy to do much recreational shooting but also haven't done much camping. I'll be taking my new teardrop trailer. Here is a repeat of a picture I took last January or February along the Washington coast.
I'm hoping for hot weather so I can try out the A/C.

I am green with envy...
We had always planned to travel and fish all those trout streams we couldn't while I was working. Now that I am retired... I can't get to most of them.
Keep the pictures coming... I really enjoy seeing the places you take the little trailer.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Wenatchee Confluence State Park or Lake Wenatchee State Park. This is from a couple of weeks ago so not sure how high the river is now, it's been a lot cooler the last few days.

I might just drive up to the Grand Coulee Dam.

I was kind of wondering which park you were talking about. While Confluence park is nice enough, unless you're in Wenatchee for some other reason it's nothing special.
My uncle used to have a small cabin near Lake Wenatchee so I spent quite a bit of time there in my youth. It is a very nice area but be prepared for mosquitoes.

Re: Lake Chelan State Park
The Confluence is what I call a cookie cutter park in the middle of a city. It is a park where nothing is going on except the fact that you are not home. Lake Chelan State Park is a destination park. Lake Wenatchee is nice because it is in the forest.dave77 wrote:I was kind of wondering which park you were talking about.
