We don't get paid. These have been our "guys" for two decades and were anchor sponsors for our veteran's charity. We give back to those who treat us right.

Look for our rigged kayak and rack and roll trailer on static display if you drop in.

that would be interesting to see .... note, I said see .... if things go as we hope, on June 8th I hope to be firing at Jay Henges shooting park located just west of St Louis sending several hundred rounds down range out of our Henry 44 Mag.... when it comes to watercraft, I don't leave the dock on one I can't drive .... nor do I get in one that I can't turn a key or pull a rope and hear a rumble ... ... hope you guys have a very successful show

Sounds like an interesting day in the outdoors. It's too bad that no one will have a Gheenoe there. Think of a square stern canoe that is almost impossible to capsize. I have had one since 1982 and it has spoiled me for any other canoe, or other small watercraft.

I see, the only authorized dealer is in newport news.

Our commanders and the new Bonefide 127s are very stable... you should check check them out.

ARC usually has more than 2,000 boats in stock... it's a fun day.
We enjoy talking with the folks, sharing the kayaking fishing sport, fly tying, fly casting, and rigging information... seeing old friends... it's a party.

I have the old style Lowsider 15' 6" long . The ads for the boat used to show a man standing up sideways shooting a shotgun to show how stable they are. I hope that when you get back you can share some photos.

I'll try and take some pics at the demo day, but just to show you how stable the Commanders are, here is a favorite picture of Miss T during a previous river float in her Commander. In this photo, Tina is standing in the kayak as it floats in the current, tying on a new lure, laughing at one of her friend's joke, and can control the direction of the kayak by shifting her weight in the hull. To make a greater change she can cast her extra baitcaster to the chosen side with a heavy spinner bait and reel hard... and pull the bow around. She can also paddle from the standing position.

When fishing from the Commander, I can honestly say that Tina spends as much, or more, time standing, as she does sitting. This allows her to sight fish the shoreline and the smallies working the current behind the rocks. Me? I have trouble standing for any length of time on the shore... so I SIT in the kayaks. But, the dished area behind the seats is called the captain's perch. I sit up there more than I sit in the seat.

You will note that it looks like Tina is standing below the waterline in her kayak. It's because... she is. The Commander has a tunnel hull, and with her feet spread and in the "tunnels" her calves braced against the sides, and the backs of her legs braced against the back of the cockpit... she is in a VERY steady standing position and leveraged to control the kayak.

We bought the first two Commanders sold to the public in the US. Our dealer received the first shipments and we bought his first two sales. We have bought and sold a number of Commanders over the years as friends bought our rigged boats from us... including THIS Commander. One of One... a rare bird. The only Carbon Fiber Commander ....
My friends call it the Black Ghost, since I only take it out and paddle it on rare occasions. I DO take it out and paddle it though. It weighs about half as much as the normal Commander, and handles like a dream. I don't take it down the river though, I wouldn't want to scratch up that Carbon Fiber bottom, or bang the sides against the rocks. I do take it to the ponds and lakes and fish it.
The serial number plate says 1 of 25. But, they discontinued the special edition series after a couple months, and only made the one. So, 1 of 1. A rare bird.

Thanks for the photos. That looks like a very stable fishing platform and a comfortable boat to spend a day fishing out of.
