I remember the good old days when the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadians were at the top of their game. Great rivalry. Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito, Derek Sanderson, Wayne Cashman and don't forget Gerry Cheevers the goalie in the Bruins lineup. I played in High School (RW) and later ran a night hockey league. My favorite sport.

Its also my favorite sport. We have a local minor league team here from the ECHL there in the Kelly Cup Finals again. They won that cup last year. My best friend has season tickets so I get to go alot. They are an affiliate with the Colorado Avalanche. Next yr they will be moving into the AHL which is a direct feed to the Avalanche. Should be some good hockey close by. Im looking forward to it.

I have 2 autographed hockey sticks; the 1967 Stanley Cup Maple Leafs and the '67 Chicago Blackhawks. Some great signatures on them; Mikita, Hull, Pat Stapleton, Dave Keon, Johnny Bower, Terry Sawchuk, and Tim Horton. Classic era hockey guys.
ps....I actually would like to see the Caps win it this year, they are way overdue for a break.

Well RR no Oh Canada in the cup. Bummer. Looks like the caps need to put 2 in row together also to get there. Looks like a Vegas Tampa Stanley Cup to me.

Well, we know Vegas is 'IN". We'll know if it's Tampa or Washington after tonight's game. I'd like to see the Caps. They've been skunked too many years.

Well its the Caps and Vegas. But Im not routing for the Caps RR. Im going with the Golden Knights. The locals won there game 7 in OT 4-3. Won the Conference Championship now on to play for the Cup. They were down 3-1 with 10 min to go and came back tied it up and won it in OT. Gotta love game 7 in Hockey. Just got home from it a short time ago it was great.

It's tough not to cheer for Fleury. Would be fun to see him stick it to the Pens. But Ovechkin has labored long and hard too. Should be a good series. 7 games I think.

Don't know which team to root for on this cup series. I think I'll lean toward the Caps since they've been around longer and Ovechkin deserves a cup.
