I just watched one of my favorite movies again. It's a little bit western, a little bit musical, and a little bit of a chickflick, but I've watched it at least half a dozen times and have it in my movie collection. It didn't win any awards for film making; nonetheless, it's one of my all time favorite films.
Pure Country with George Strait, Lesley Ann Warren, and Isabel Glasser.

Yup that's a good one. We saw George Strait live in 2006 in Calgary. Great show. He stayed at the edge of the stage shaking hands with people for almost an hour after it finished. Miranda Lambert opened the show.

If I had a dollar for each time my daughter watched this movie, I could go buy more ammo. George Strait is the real deal for sure.

Another good movie along the similar 'genre' of Pure Country is 'Country Strong' with Tim McGraw and Gwyneth Paltrow. Great movie and probably Gwyneth's best performance.

Geez, I'd have to make a list, or divide the into categories. Lol.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.
