I got my Hunter safety training certificate last Sunday!!! Now on to the Appleseed to earn my rifle woman patch. Just that much closer to getting a better selection of food for my family!!!

Congrats!. I am new to hunting as well (I guess I am a late bloomer). I finished mine not too long ago also. I would like to go with someone who is seasoned first. The family that has offered is a few hundred miles away. But, we are thinking about a trip this season. He has about 40 acres that the group covers. He says they get something every year. Hopefully, this year will be the same. Happy hunting!

I have a offer in Michigan, a private farm with deer. So hopefully this year! I'm just starting too. I'm tickling 40 here

Congratulations. A private farm in Michigan sounds nice. I hope you harvest some nice venison this fall. Enjoy the steaks.

Spot on, and CONGRATS, for getting your Hunter safety training certificate!
I'm a rookie hunter, just been into firearms for six years. I've deer-hunted three seasons on my son's-in-law 20 acres, and rabbit-hunted this last season at a MO Conservation Area. Lots & lots of hunting time, but no harvest yet! Maybe this year I'll get a doe and/or a few rabbits....shall see. I remain hopeful one of those critters will come along into my gun sights.
I hope your table will be abundant with whatever game you bring home. Best as you continue the adventure, and enjoy!

Just before I headed for the woods to wabbit hunt, I "chatted" with Elmer. He provided some good advice for me. He said that whenever...
