Friends...that is what it's all about on this "family Forum," as DD expressed.

Thanks much for coming "alongside" me in friendship.

As you know me to be a wordy character, I could share my appreciation with each of you one-on-one. But I'll make it easier to read with this single note of appreciation.

Here is what you shared, Henry Friends -- and you each know what you wrote!

Never having met any of you, and all our sharing/chats done via cyberspace, these expressions of friendship are simpy rich blessings. I appreciate each of you that welcomed me back to the HRF...and also for anyone else who might yet add to my note.

Lastly, you may recall I enjoy reading a lot, including poetry. Here is a quote (almost a poem) penned by Joseph Parry, a renowned Welsh composer, who lived in the mid-19th century through early-20th century. He wrote over 1000 compositions of Hymn tunes, songs and anthems, chorales and other orchestral pieces. This is a portion of his thoughts about friendship.

It's simply my "sincere thanks" to all you good Henry Folk for sharing your friendship with me, and each other.

Love the poem and it's so true. To this day, I can still name and remember every friend I've had, all the way back to childhood. What's the point of life without friends?

Hi, Gene. Great idea, and it would be cool to meet you also. Let's see if that might become a can-do.

And here is another possibility/suggestion, depending on what you're doing in Branson, your available time, and so on. About 60 miles due north of Branson is Springfield, MO. And only about 12-15 miles west of Springfield is the Missouri Bois D' Arc Conservation Area (CA). Within that CA, we have one of our really nice MO shooting ranges, similar to the one JEBar shoots at near St. Louis, and I go to here at Parma Woods close to KCMO. It is called the Andy Dalton Shooting Range and is located in Ash Grove, MO. It you'd like (I would), maybe we could get there partly for some visit time plus range time.
