How many here keep a spreadsheet of their income and expenses? I use Quicken and once setup doesn't take but an hour or two a month to enter all the transactions.

I used to, but now, the only spreadsheet I keep is on my rifles and handguns. Luckily, or unluckily, it does not need updating too often.

I use Quicken for our bank accounts and also use it to write some checks. It makes reconciling a bank account much easier.

Think of a spreadsheet as the back 40 spread. How many cows can you keep on it?

We keep multiple, connected spreadsheets in Excel.
