Carol made a pork roast with turnips and a side of baked beans. Loved it.
Accompanied with a Hohenstein's New Ulm Beer. Another oldie but goodie. :D
Later on TV and a martini. :D

Getting an early start with a Gin & Tonic. My wife and I loaded and unloaded our 6X10' utility trailer with fresh cut logs. Our neighbor across from us had 2 trees takedown. One was an oak the other a poplar. All the logs were cut into burning length 16-20" by the tree guy. We just had to roll them on the trailer and then roll them off. I'm guessing there's 2 more trailer loads still to move. Next week I'll fire up the splitter and get busy with that job. :D

Burghers on the Blackstone. I took a while to convert Carol but now she loves the way they're
caramelized. Really good flavor. Accompanied by baked beans and chips with a Hohenstein beer.
Life is good.👍

I must agree with that one Coop, life is good. I have mashed potatoes, maple glazed carrots, chef salad, onions and peppers in red wine glaze and loin steaks ready for the grill. It's raining here, but the grill won't care. Well done for the better half, rare for me.
I'm having a Johnny Walker Red and water on the rocks while I wait for the dinner to catch up to grilling time.

I'm lifting the glass to all of you. Cheers!
