its so cold that I'm seeing fellow Walmart shoppers wearing two sets of pajamas ...

That is so tacky to wear two sets of pj's. I wear cotton long johns under one set of pj's when I go shopping.

It's so cold I saw a chicken with a capon.

I saw a dog froze to a fire hydrant!

I don't have to worry about antifreeze for my car. The last time I was in Texas I stopped at a lake and read a sign that said the lake never freezes. So I filled up my radiator. Even brought a jug back for my truck.

... When I went to meet my friend for lunch today, the windex in the cubby in the back of the truck door was FROZEN solid. Now that's cold.
