I just finished my 2015 taxes and will mail it on Monday. Glad that is behind me.

I will be finishing up my taxes tomorrow and will be, once again, mailing in a check. It is a true pain to have to send in a check. Did I mention I hate tax season?!!!

Our tax return is too simple to be worrisome.

We just learned a few weeks ago that we do not have to file taxes.

We don't think we'll miss that very much....

So is mine on years I don't withdraw anything from retirement accounts.

After two hours doing a phone "verification" on the regulation with the IRS, it's okay.
Hmmm......They probably wouldn't let me out for shooting range visits too often, would they?!?

I paid $144 TOTAL in taxes in 2015. I just barely have to file.

Taxes will be completed on Wednesday. Cut it just a bit close this year. I will have to write a check again, and dang that just ticks me off. I will probably still be paying 2 years after I am gone.

I hate tax season even though our taxes are NOT complicated.

I finished and sent in our tax papers in the mail a couple of weeks ago.

Our state income taxes stink as much as our federal income taxes do.

since we are on the road, during the last week our daughter finished collecting and forwarded the papers necessary to complete our 2018 Federal and State Income Taxes .... yesterday afternoon we completed ours and this morning we took care of hers .... this is our first opportunity to find out how the new tax laws impact us .... happy to report that both our daughter and and us came out considerably better than last year .... e-filed both our state and federal returns, both were accepted within an hour .... looking forward to seeing how quickly they process and issue a refund

I also e-filed, as usual. I wasn't surprised that the new tax laws didn't affect me; my adjusted gross annual income is just too low to be taxed (again), so all that I've already paid into the Federal and State systems will be returned. Mad Money! Here comes my new Taylor's and Company Cattleman 22LR!

In 2021, I'll be required to make mandatory minimum withdrawals from my IRAs; then things will change. Sadly, at the end of 2025 the recently passed middle class tax cuts are slated to expire.

I will efile but can't yet as I haven't received the 1099s I need yet.

Mine take me no time at all...my wife is an accountant...she does it for me...

as you might expect, she has all of her info in order when we sit down to feed it into the computer .... it really takes minimal effort on my part
