I was 12. Remember seeing them debut on Ed Sullivan.

Superb song writers, vocalists and musicians. What's not to like!

Mind you, as somebody who was born in Liverpool, I might be a bit biased.

I own and listen to all of their music (even Anthology). It never gets old.

I remember when they came to America back then, I was just starting to play the guitar. I used to play many of there songs in a small rock band. I changed to country music in the late 60's because there was more places to play. All these years later I don.t remember much of the Beatles music. I just retired from playing in bands a few years ago and do miss playing out. It wasn't a total waist of time as I did get inducted into the New York State Country Music Hall of Fame in 2010 along with my wife to the Hall of Honor.

Wow! Congratulations, Jim. That is quite an honor, for you and your wife.

I played in a bar band years ago as well, and can still play the bass lines for most of the early Beatle tunes. Keeps the arthritic fingers moving...

The NY Hall of Fame is pretty darn special, Well done!
