Appropriate title for Halloween....where do you hang out? This is a little old time restaurant in Coleman Alberta called "Chris' Restaurant". We go there often for all day breakfast, or lunch or supper. They always decorate for the season (this was Canadian Thanksgiving) and the food is great. Just normal food, burgers, bacon & eggs, hot beef sandwich, etc. Won't break the bank either. Not too many of these old places left around here.

There aren't many left here either. It looks like a great place to go. Makes my morning coffee taste better already.
My favorite haunt is the Lumberjack Inn in Tupper Lake NY. Very similar. I usually get two egg ham and cheese omelet. It comes with home fries and home made toast. It's just plain good.

We have a local family-owned restaurant where we go to eat, at least once a week. It's one of those places where everyone knows all the employees and then owner by name, the food is great and prices very reasonable. When we moved up here, we were hoping to find just such a place and it's been great. We don't take it for granted, either.

Yes you can't take them for granted. Our other favorite closed in 2011.

our area is "blessed" with every fast food restaurant common to this part of the country and wide range of other eating places .... what we want to eat dictates where we go .... the closest we have to a favorite haunt would have to be our camper picture 1 .... we use it to meet regularly with family and friends for food and fellowship picture 2 .... BBQ's, fish fries, Dutch Oven cooking, Frogmore Stews (AKA Low Country Boils) picture 3, and play a part in making camper our mobile haunt ..
