:D it's two...

Went out to the shop this morning to work on my project... sorta. Waiting on some parts to come in for a piece of equipment, so I was going to lay out some lettering on some walnut to cut out on the scroll saw. :P The letters would become the high relief logo of the owner/sponsor of the charity kayak fishing tournament my project would he used for.

I pulled a sealed box from a drawer in my tool cabinet, a sign making stencil kit the wife bought me several months ago and I never got to use. I started to set up the name of the company, in 1-1/2 inch letters.

YAKATTACK

Hmmm. Two sets of letters, but I was missing a K, and three A's. (The kits were supposed to contain two vowels and one of each consonant.) ;) OK... looks like we are going with the 2-1/2 inch letters, I will deal with the missing letters later. :(

Ah? No A's?    There should have been four.

Called Woodcraft. They said they would make it right. :) I still have to drive an hour each way, but they are holding a class on saturday, I'll go to that, and kill two birds with one stone. 8-) Sheesh, gotta let the small stuff go.

Inventoried the whole set.. man, there were a bunch of letters missing... either quality control was asleep at the wheel that day when the box left the manufacturer, or someone returned the set to Woodcraft as unused... the latter is the most likely.

I think you are right. A return that got through.
