Cool trade -- Henry Orange for Boyt Green

Just recently a friend of mine bought his first Henry, the Frontier Model Long Barrel 24" in .22LR. I called him this afternoon to see if I could stop over and look at his new rifle, and also to bring my SGC. He was interested in viewing the SGC sights through my receiver-mounted Skinner peep.
First time I handled this new Henry 24" model. I must admit it was a little barrel heavy with a 24" octagon, but felt okay when looking down that longer barrel. He was excited how accurate it was the first time he shot it --- straight out-of-box, no sighting in, no buckhorn sight adjustment. Told me it was right on the bull and very accurate. You should have seen his grin.
Then he checked out my rear Skinner sight. He liked it, but said his eyes did quite well with the buckhorn sights and plans to stick with them for as long as he can. Good choice. His Henry looks really sharp as it came stock.
As I was packing up my SGC to go to his place, I decided to take the 48" Boyt rifle case I had for sale here in the Henry "Classifieds." It's a 48" case, and thought he might be interested in this case since his Henry has the OAL of almost 43", which is darn close. When he saw the Boyt, he was really excited about the fit and quality. Remember my classified photo I had posted?
Then there was a pleasant surprise for me. He definitely wanted the Boyt, but took out his new Henry Orange Rifle case he had just gotten, and offered to trade with me. Now it was my turn to get a little excited. Of course, you all know what the Henry Orange looks like:
So we ended up trading, and are now even more happy Henry owners. When we said "so long," we were both grinning! 
Not an especially exciting post....no lead going down range this time or black steel target clangs. But I had a most fun afternoon with this unexpected trade, and will enjoy my new Henry Orange! Trust everyone will have a great weekend.
