About at the end of my rope
Last week while the wife was at work and it was raining I thought I should finish putting the rope around the base board. She liked it in the living room so I did the dining and got it finished for her before she got home. She likes it better than nailing down the wood trim and fits in OK with the all wood theme and we can change it if we get tired of it. I put it down with a hot glue gun and it holds very well with no nail holes. I thought it might give problems holding in the corners but it is doing fine at staying put. Every one of our friends that have stopped to look at our rooms that are finished liked the rope trim.

Clever title, and use of materials! It is looking good.
Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Good title. It turned out really nice. Sort of nautical.

Cool idea, nice to do something different.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

That looks really good, bandit.
I've never seen anything like that before, but it does fit in really well with the wood.

I really like that. Great idea for a room finished in a nautical theme as well.
Bandit I have to warn you. After living in all that wood for a while. You'll never be able to go back to living with sheetrock walls.

never heard of using rope for trim

Cool, great idea. I just hope you do not become unraveled when you reach the end of your rope.
