We have a NASCAR thread and an MLB thread so it's time for an NFL thread. Who is your team? Extra credit if you are a Chiefs fan!

I have been a Philadelphia Eagles fan for a long time, somewhere in the 1970's I think. My son is a season ticket holder and he takes me along to two games each year. The tailgating is great fun, but at 72 years of age, the walk to and from the stadium and climbing the steps sometimes gets to me. If the weather is really nasty, it isn't my "cup of tea" either. But I may go for at least this year, I think. I appreciate his kindness and other relatives and friends and his sons use the tickets too. We shall see how they play this year and see if they can make the playoffs. They lost a couple of players and got a couple.

I was waiting for that, no surprise to me.

I guess the pic was considered "inappropriate" by mods or admin. Their site, their rules. I respect that, but doggone...it's a nice pic!

Side note....us Chiefs fans sincerely appreciate the Eagles letting us have Andy Reid. I think he had run his course in Philly, but he has returned the Chiefs to respectability after many long years of futility. Tip of my hat to all Eagles fans.

I have been a Redskins fan for a loooong time. I have also been in mourning for them for a loooong time. Most of my Redskins apparel, hats, jackets and such have been in black since the last time they won the Super Bowl. I miss Joe Gibbs and even when he was talked out of retirement I knew it was not going to fix everything that was broken.
They have had too many coaches and quarterbacks and haven't come close to replacing the Hogs on the line.

But I have also always liked the Chiefs. I was born in Kansas so pulling for them is easy and they are also Injuns.
