I'm thinking of putting a leather wrap on the lever of my Frontier - if and when it ever arrives - but I need to know the dimension of the lacing cord. I'm guessing it's around 2mm to 3mm square? Can somebody please tell me the proper size, instead of my guesstimate.

Don't know if it's the proper way or not but I used some 3/32" flat leather lace. My guess is it's mostly personal preference.

Thanks. That looks really good. I was thinking more in terms of a leather cover laced together, but your method has really got me thinking.
