I was raised in the farm country of southeastern Pennsylvania. I worked for the Amish picking tobacco in August when I was a teenager. They paid me $1.00 an hour. I was happy, life was good plain and simple. It was the 1950's. Some of my collection:

I love your barn and stables etc Dutch, and you have a great collection. Yours too, Dave. They make me want to go and visit Toys 'R Us and see what they've got!

Dutch, those are some very nice tractors in your collection. It's nice to see how prominently they are displayed. The barnyard is very interesting. I especially like the chickens.

I like the picture with the cows. Looks like the one in behind the fence is thinking about the other one, "How come he's over there?"

Hmmm... not sure cows are capable of deep thoughts like that.

I bought the farm set for the kids when they were young. They liked it, I loved it. Every time I saw a new tractor or piece of equipment, I added it. It was quite a set. The kids lost interest and I put it away. Interest renewed, as Henry88 noted, it is January, lol.
