two gifts today

My wife came in today with the mail and said "You got a package from the NRA." I didn't have any idea what it would be and told her to open it I was busy right at the moment. She opened it and it is a nice duffel bag in digital camo. It has a nice size center compartment and smaller ones on each end with one also on the front. I may use it to keep my varmint hunting gear in behind my truck seat. I can put my calls in it and ammo for the 222 Sako and some 223 for when I take one of the 223's out. Has room for camo gloves and my camo head and face cover. I will store behind the seat and it will compress down if needed. Then I rode over to my LGS with my friend and he bought a new Savage 111 XP in 25/06. While in there the owner gave me a Redfield Revolution 3-9 scope he dropped on the counter and bent the lock ring on the objective end. He said he wasn't sending it in and told me to take it with me. So I took the lock ring off when I got home with a strap wrench and straightened it out pretty well back to normal. I may use a little body filler and fix it better and then spray it flat black and matte clear it just on the lock ring. At the very worst I either have to buy a new ring or send it to Redfield but I will still be ahead. Here is the bag and scope.
