I'm thinking of buying this gun cabinet. Its a bit expensive but I like it and need another place to put Henrys.

It sure is good looking! Why not get it?

Almost no one could accessorize that cabinet as well as you can. Pull the trigger! Then post pics.

The room I will put it in has a deadbolt. Even the master bedroom has a deadbolt. Heck all the rooms except the bathroom has a deadbolt.

I recently rekeyed the entire house and can give guests keys that will only allow them into certain rooms. Even the front door has two locks, one for guests and one for me. I can lock everyone out or give them limited access.

I bet you could also have "Sir" etched into the glass above Henry.

Yeah, my wooden cabinet is out in one of the sheds, will bring it back for airguns.

I guess it's all about where you live, your security system and neighbors (if you have them).

Let's face it, it's all about time. That is what a safe does, buys you time. Most thieves will not take the time for a safe, but will smash a door, window, or cabinet.

Around here and other places, the cops are going to show up to take a report. We're basically on our own. Same with the Fire Dept.

I guess your real security is an up to date inventory (video or pics) for the insurance company

How high are your ceilings? A leg lamp would really look nice on top.

looks very nice SH but I do not like displaying my firearms, I do not trust people easily. Displaying nice firearms gets people minds churning.

BTW, what does that cabinet sell for?

I saw that recently. My 1st thought was that I'd love to. But those days are over. My stuff stays locked in a safe now.

I have several hard safes where I keep my firearms but sometimes I need a softer safe where I can store firearms going to the range the next day or when I'm cleaning or working on them. Currently I often have a half dozen leaning up against the wall and want to eliminate that.
