I heard shooting from my neighbors log home yesterday afternoon. They only visit it a few times a year. This time I think the entire family came. I shot some gongs to let them know I shoot too. They were shooting what sounded like shotgun but I’m guessing it might have been black powder judging from how they were shooting. Either that or a potato launcher. All I know is they were having fun and were laughing. In the evening I could see a campfire and hear more laughing. Adult beverages might have been involved.

At any rate it was odd to have other human activity around the homestead.

Good neighbors are worth more than gold.
