Rudolf the orange nosed reindeer.

Post by Hatchdog » Sun Apr 05, 2026 11:03 am

I was up at my property yesterday and walked over to the neighbor’s place across the road. While going up his driveway I saw this “deer” he created. This deer is entirely one piece of branch with the exception of the antlers/nose. He told me he was limbing a tree getting ready to take it down and this piece was giving him fits. Said he cut here and there and it wouldn’t come free. When it did, he said it nearly took him out. he’s really creative and sees art in everything.

Very creative.
I see images in things as well. My wife sighs, and tells me to get back to work.

:?

Some people just don't appreciate art.

by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Years ago, walking ours woods in VA, I found this downed tree. It looked like some kind of monster in a Stephen King novel that would eat you if you got to close. Yup, I see images in things that might not be there.

It didn't help that the first time I saw it there was a heavy fog around the ground. :o
