Easter Surpise

Post by brm4450 » Mon Mar 30, 2026 2:03 pm

Just got some good news, just in time for Easter Sunday. My son is headed home after a 6 month deployment this Thursday. He will be with his family for Easter and also for one of his daughter’s birthday!

BRM, your granddaughter is certainly going remember this birthday! And, so will he. I hope you all enjoy both special occasions. Sláinte!

Ditto on his service. Much appreciated.

I really miss the like function.

Awesome BRM for you and your family. A tip of the cap to your son and to his family for their sacrifice.

BTDT, one year I left on deployment before Thanksgiving and didn't return until mid July. I missed all the main events in the family that year... I know how much his return means. Thank him for his service, and I know they'll all cherish the time together.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.
