Re: 2025 Federal Tax Return
the only thing keeping us from doing our taxes is both of our 1099's from the State of North Carolina haven't come .... just wondering, for those who have finished filing your taxes, how much do the changes in Federal taxes on Social Security Retirement and purchasing a new vehicle built in the USA impact your taxes
Re: 2025 Federal Tax Return
Had to pay $600 for tax year 2024. We are hoping we Will have no tax liability with the new lower tax rates.

Re: 2025 Federal Tax Return
My return was pretty much the same as 2024, a little higher with the COL increases for SS and state pension. Got $1200 back last year, $1600 back this year so not a huge difference.
Re: 2025 Federal Tax Return
Thanks. I have used the site previously. My accountant told me the return was accepted, I did not realize that did not mean approved. Oh well.dave77 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 04, 2026 2:15 amHave you seen this site, will tell you date received, date refund is approved and date refund was sent.

Re: 2025 Federal Tax Return
Just received my last 1099 so I’ll be filing today. Simple return. Looking forward to seeing just how 2025 will compare to 2024.
