I’ve been going to the local high school basketball games. They are 6-1 in conference and 8-2 overall. Tonight they were on fire.

At about 92 points with four minutes left they began to slow down and let the clock run out. That’s when the crowd started yelling “we want a hundred” and they responded.

It’s great living in a small town where I know half the kids.

I understand perfectly. I spent my sophomore year living outside a small town in North Dakota. I enjoyed playing basketball but wasn’t near good enough to even think about trying out for the team at my Spokane high school. In NDAK I joined the team being a bench warmer on the B squad. What I quickly realized is how supportive the locals were. It was amazing how far the families of all the teams would travel to watch a game. Like the area Sir Henry lives in every small town had a high school and we traveled to many for games as did other teams travel to us. Fun times.

You have lots of local sports to support there. Does the same group go with you?

Yes there are seven of us that do a lot of things together. We are talking about going to the road games now. I spoke with the school superintendent about renting a 55 passenger school bus.

GROAN. When I read this last night I didn’t get it but this morning with the proper amount of coffee it jumped right into my head.

Gene, I think that is great. I'll bet the team will come to love the support. You have to post pictures.

Tonight we had our second 100 point game in a row and the crowd went wild. For a small one school district we excel at sports. I think it’s partially because the stands are packed with fans.
