I doubt that I will be aware of the transition to 2026 unless the neighbors are shooting something off to celebrate. My plan is to retire early and wake up to see how much snow has accumulated and decide if I have to do something about it. Exciting I know.

Happy New Year to all. I’m optimistic for a great year with our country doing well.
Mrs hatchdog and myself enjoyed a couple of adult beverages last night and managed to stay up until 9:00 pm our time to watch the ball drop. My wife loves hearing Sinatra sing New York New York and other songs after the strike of midnight. Nice to do so in the Pacific time zone.,
