Mags asked me to post that the website says his ip is banned when he tries to log in.
Anyone know how to get in touch with dave?

I got banned to and just got back in. I think there really is someone from the adult evening beverage thread tuning up this forum

And that brings us back to the subject of being appreciative of Dave. I don't know how to do fundraising. But I will certainly contribute to a slush fund to support his efforts. Ferris...Ferris....? Anybody?

No one was banned by us. The forum continues to migrate to the new server. I was warned there will be problems and apparently new ones will pop up out of the blue.
These issues are not from us. For almost ten years we have been fairly trouble free. We've turned into a great group of folks and should stand the rest of time.
Hang in there, I'm working on it.

I’ve gotten the banned message a couple more times but when I try to log in it goes right by it and logs me in. I just got off the phone with Dave not long ago. It was great to visit with him. I see no reason not to let this play out and see what happens. I know that Dave is as frustrated with this as well. But if there comes a time where Dave needs help with the forum Im all in for helping and Im sure there is others here that are to

Mags' IP address may be on the so-called Blacklist. Have him check. There are several sites that can verify and provide guidance for restoring it. Here's one:

Hatchdog and Dave77 are in the same general area. Niether has posted in roughly the same amount of time as mags.

Thanks for the info. Hatch and dave77 are also likely blocked. They usually post 2 or more times a day. So this is more like a range of ip addresses have been blocked.
These are my router ip address's
Home: 50.39.231.118 (fixed)
cell: 100.85.98.211 (dynamic)
Have Dave check this.
For an administrator:
Step-by-step unbanning guide
Log in to your phpBB administration panel: Access your forum's backend using your administrator credentials.
Navigate to user security: Look for a section like "User Security" or "IP Address Bans" within the administration panel. The exact location can vary depending on the phpBB version.
Find the list of banned IPs: Locate the "Banned IP addresses" or similar listing, which will show all currently banned IP addresses and hostnames.
Select the IP range: In the multiple-selection menu, click on the IP addresses or hostnames within the range you wish to unban. You may need to hold down the Ctrl (or Cmd on Mac) key to select multiple entries individually or find an option to select a contiguous block if available.
Unban the selected IPs: After selecting the desired range, find and click the corresponding button or link to "Unban" or "Remove" the selected IPs from the ban list

My IP region is still blocked. I figured out how to use VPN. So that is my temporary workaround to the IP range ban.

Have to bailout of posts that contain pictures. Over VPN picture loading is very slow...................
